This is...my most treasured childhood possession

Cat.
Isn't he beautiful? I think I got him when I was 3. One of mum's friends gave this cat to my sister and gave me a monkey. I didn't like the monkey, sis didn't take to the cat so a happy swap was executed. Cat and Monkey were our best mates. And still are.
p.s. I love how kids call their toys by such obvious names. The Mr has a panda called Panda. I love Panda too.

Aww cat is looking well loved! I once asked a four year old what her toy horse was called, she replied Mavrick! I nearly fall over backwards.

Thank you for joining This Is!!!

Oh cat is lovely.
He reminds me of a famous cat?
Maybe the cat from Hunter?

Cat is sooooo sweet! So true about the obvious names. My little treasure was "Fluffy Sheepy" - Sheepy for short. I still have Sheepy, but all his fluffiness has been loved off...my mum crocheted him for me. I started crocheting one for baby from the same pattern but the loop stitch was doing my head in, so mum has come to the rescue and taken over! Look forward to showing you the end result xx Claire
PS That reminds me - do you remember the 70s children's book "Dogger" by Shirley Hughes? So delightful...one of my all time favourites :)
