Lovely to see you back blogging Louise! I just popped over and read Kate's posts. We made handmade gifts often when I was growing up and then after I started feeling like people thought they were just a tacky second to a 'proper' gift and didn't really appreciate them, I mainly stopped, but now I have started again and loving it! I think it helps that I now feel that my standard is getting better, but it also helps to just choose to give to those who understand too.
